At Micro Ice, we have professional coaches that care about the Long Term Athletic Development of our players. We teach the game to players the right way. We focus on skating, skill development, and being great teammates. We do not focus on tactics, systems, dumping the puck or winning.
Instead, we work on building confidence with the puck, making plays, and recovering from mistakes. We have a great atmosphere where kids learn, develop, and love coming to the rink.

The Cubs are meant for skaters new to hockey. They will be a part of a team for the first time and learn and grow together as teammates and friends. Practices are on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Sessions run for 12 weeks at a time.
One practice is with Skating Coach Erika Hammar. The players will focus on skating, balance, agility, and power.
The other practice is with Program Director David Breen and will be hockey focused: shooting, stickhandling, passing, and games!
Our practices are packed with skating, passing, shooting, stickhandling, racing, keep-away, and small area games. Each player is moving, handling pucks, and playing the whole time.
We focus on player development and skills: Skating, passing, shooting, and stickhandling.
Our team size is limited, so your child gets more repetition, more ice time, and develops better than anywhere else.
Fall 2018 Practice times: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 5pm. All season long.
As with all our teams, we will focus on the fundamentals and individual skill development. The team will be limited in size, so that our players get more ice time in games and more repetitions in practice.
